Call For Abstracts

The scientific committee welcomes the submission of scientific abstracts. Authors are invited to submit abstracts in the following areas of interest:

  • Interventional Oncology/Radiology
  • Medical Oncology
  • Radiation Oncology
  • Surgical Oncology
  • Palliative Medicine
  • Pathology
  • Diagnostic Radiology
  • Radiographers/Nurses/Others

All abstracts are to be submitted online. Final forms of presentation can be in any of the following format:-

  1. Oral presentation
  2. Live poster presentation
  3. E-poster presentation
  4. Video presentation

There is no limit to the number of abstracts you may submit, but you may not submit on the same study / data set to be presented in more than one format.

All abstracts are to be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. The committee reserves the right to decide on the final form of presentation.

The presenting author of successful abstracts must complete his/her registration for the conference as a delegate before the 15th July 2019 and present his/her work during the conference.

Submission Guidelines

If you plan to submit for ORAL PRESENTATION / LIVE POSTER PRESENTATION / E-POSTER PRESENTATION, please follow the following steps.

  1. Prepare your abstract in the following format. Maximum number of words is 250 words.
  2. Oral and Poster Abstract submission button is inside your delegate login account.
  3. Complete the details requested under author information.
  4. Key in the written summary you have prepared.
  5. Ensure that all changes, corrections and proof-reading has been carried out before submission.
  6. Click submit.
  7. Upon submission, you will receive an acknowledgement email notifying you that your abstract has been received with your Abstract ID.
  8. Should you wish to edit your abstract, you may login and do so anytime before the abstract closing deadline.
  9. Once the abstract deadline has closed, no more changes will be allowed by the system.

Notification
of Acceptance

  • Review of abstracts will take 4 to 6 weeks from the abstract submission deadline.
  • All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. The Committee reserves the right to select the abstracts and assign the sessions and final format of presentation. The decision of the Committee is final.
  • Results will be announced via email.
  • All accepted abstract presenting authors MUST complete his/her registration for the conference as a delegate before the 15th July 2019 and present his/her work during the conference.
  • The following is the final format of presentation.

Oral Presentation - Strictly 5 minutes presentation followed by 2 minutes Q&A.
- After 3 minutes, there will be a warning bell to indicate that there are 2 minutes left.
- After this, there will be a final bell and if the presenter is still presenting, the presentation will automatically be switched off.
- All Free Paper Oral Presenters are encouraged to keep to the timing.
Live Poster Presentation - To submit E Posters before the 15th August 2019.
- E-Poster Format : Width 14 inches x Height 25 inches. Saved as pdf.
- Maximum File Size : 1MB
- Please name your E Poster in the following format :- [Abstract ID][Presenting Author’s Name]
- Live Posters will be assigned presentation sessions which will be chaired by invited chairmen and included in the scientific programme.
- Each Live Poster presentation is 3 minutes presentation followed by 2 minutes Q&A.
Live Poster presenters must be present to present their Live Posters.
E-Poster Presentation - To submit E Posters before the 15th August 2019.
- E-Poster Format : Width 14 inches x Height 25 inches. Saved as pdf.
- Maximum File Size : 1MB

If you plan to submit for VIDEO PRESENTATION, please follow the following steps.

  1. Prepare a written summary describing your video in 250 words.
  2. Video abstract submission button is inside your delegate login account.
  3. Complete the details requested under author information.
  4. Key in the written summary you have prepared.
  5. Click submit.

Notification
of Acceptance (Video)

  • Review of video abstracts will take 4 to 6 weeks from the abstract submission deadline.
  • All video abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. The Committee reserves the right to select the video abstracts and assign the sessions. The decision of the Committee is final.
  • Results will be announced via email.
  • All confirmed video presentations MUST complete his/her registration for the conference as a delegate before the 15th July 2019 and present his/her work during the conference.
  • Accepted videos must be shorter than 3 minutes. The accepted format for video presentation is mp4.
  • Successful videos must be completed and submitted to the conference secretariat before the 15th August 2019.
  • All videos MUST BE sent to the conference secretariat via WeTransfer to the following email : abstract@apcio2019.com
  • Please name your video in the following format :- [Abstract ID][Presenting Author’s Name]
    When submitting via We Transfer, please title the message with your [Abstract ID][Presenting Author’s Name]
